About The Orland House Bed and Breakfast - A Quiet Maine Getaway! |
The Orland House is a fantastic display of
architecture dating back to 1820 and built by Henry Partridge.
Upon first glance you’ll understand why so many have spent their
romantic weekend getaways in Maine inside its pristine doors.
With an immaculate, white exterior decorated with lush flower
gardens, the house is a lovely Greek revival home with large
moldings, attractive built-ins and wide-planked floors.
Inside, you will find four charming, well-appointed rooms that
accommodate two occupants. Each room has its own personality and
distinguishing characteristics, yet all are equally comfortable.
Apart from the attractive physical aspects of this bed and
breakfast, it has a prime location, overlooking the Narramissic
River and nestled within the low hills of Orland, Maine.
Additionally, it is conveniently located near the exceedingly
popular tourist destination, Mt. Desert in Bar Harbor.
Throughout the duration of your stay at this romantic bed and
breakfast, you will be pampered with plush robes for luxurious
lounging, gourmet breakfasts and occasionally, complimentary
wine to indulge in. Venturing outside of the Orland House, you
will be able to partake in exciting outdoor activities such as
hiking and canoeing. Immerse yourself in the rich history and
excitement inside and outside the doors of the Orland House bed
and breakfast.

"Wonderful stay as always. Been here many times - and will be here many more. Couldn't ask for better innkeepers. Home away fro home...." Mike and Chilloa
"This BnB is outstanding! It was beautifully decorated, clean as a whistle, had an extremely comfortable bed and was close to a fabulous restaurant. The Innkeeper, Cindy, was wonderful! She has put many special touches in the rooms that made us feel extremely welcome and relaxed. We are looking forward to staying there again in the future. The location was ideal - very convenient to a major route - and the town is simple and unspoiled. If I could rate this one higher than 5 stars, I would!!!" John and Pat |
